About Me

Please feel free to ask me questions about myself, both in and out of class! I look forward to getting to know everyone! Here are some pictures and information to help you learn about me.

I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but lived most of my life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh is my hometown.

This is my house! My family lives in a township called Upper St. Clair, only a 10 minute drive from downtown.

This is my immediate family. I have a mother, father, and three brothers. In the picture from left to right: (back) my father Henry, Charlie, Galen, my mother Barbara, (front) me, Jeremy. Galen and Jeremy are both older and have children. Galen is a chef and Jeremy owns a tree cutting business. Charlie is my younger brother. He is 16 and a high school student.

Here is a picture of my extended family. In the picture from left to right: (back) my father Henry, Charlie, Galen, (middle) my Grandmother Jenny, my mother Barbara, Jeremy, me, my niece Kaylee, (front) my niece Kelsey.

Last summer, I went to Ecuador to teach and brought back a puppy! Because she came from a Spanish-speaking country, and because of her golden color, I named her Leona, which means "lioness" in Spanish. Now she lives with my family in Pittsburgh. Here is a picture of Leona with me and my younger brother Charlie.

In my free time, I like to watch movies and listen to music. I also like to be creative. Here, I am making a pot on a pottery wheel.

I also like to do things outside. Here are my brothers Charlie and Galen and I before going ziplining.

To zipline, you have to jump from a high platform! But first, you have to climb to the platform.

I also had the opportunity to go white water rafting this summer. It was so much fun!

And while I was in Ecuador, I climbed a volcano 14,000 feet above sea level. It was very difficult to breathe at that height!

Another thing I like to do in my free time is hang out with my friends. Here I am with my friends after getting lunch together.

Here we are again at a farewell at the end of school.

In May, 2014 I graduated with many of my friends from The Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania.
